About

WizardAmigos is a global, FREE open source, open collaborative, and free DIY (Do it yourself) programming community. It exists in codecamps and as regular meetups in Taiwan/Taipei, Germany/Berlin and now starting in Nigeria/Lagos. People of all skill levels and backgrounds are welcome to join and learn together :-)

What is it?
• Free hands-on JavaScript study group
• Opportunity to practice English
• advanced coders are encouraged to mentor & contribute to the curriculum

Who is it for?
• a complete computer beginner?  yes, perfect :-)
• already curious about programming JavaScript? that's great too :-)
• already a developer? awesome, you can dive deeper now & hope you like to help others too :-)

How does it work?
• meet online & offline
• present on WizardAmigos unconferences
• be nice to people
• if you meet locally: bring a laptop & headphones (so you can focus while others might talk/discuss)
• We usually start our meetings with a short round of introduction and an update from everyone
• and then everyone makes a plan what they will do and jump right to it
