 Weekly Update  (Perfect time for avatar uploads!) Performance & Stability Steam Audio: Improved performance; setinputs rewritten with optimised caching. Audio Limits: Sources doubled (512 → 1024), real voices raised (100 → 255). Quest & similar devices: Faster audio resampling. Experimental: Toggle HasRealAudio to massively boost framerates in large player bases. Thread safety: Added some safety around bool checks to reduce crashes. Save System: Collision detection prevents read/write conflicts. Graphics: Default MSAA lowered (4x → 2x) for smoother baseline performance. depth priming annoying me Core Systems Distance checks: Local player job batching fixed a bug (was incorrectly using squared distance, inflating avatar/sound ranges). Muscle updates: Now fully jobified for efficiency. Jiggles: Updated with lower main-thread usage. Animator: Now driven by VelocityX/VelocityZ (more accurate motion tracking). Unity: Version upgraded. Link.xml: Cleaned of unused packages. Error Reporting: Device errors are now more descriptive. Avatars & Interaction Viseme System: Rewritten with uLipSync, now modular under “Basis uLipSync.” Hai Face Tracking: Integrated! Docs coming soon. Performance: Removed unnecessary code, streamlined visuals. UX: Added visual indicators for audio range. UI & Controls Fixed microphone scale issue on desktop. Fixed admin panel teleport all bug with zero players. Fundale: fixed duplicate capped dropdown. Added “Instance” to BasisEventDriver. Documented all Basis scripts (more underway). New Project Setup Window: Quick demos, info, and example scripts at startup (and under basis/projectsetup). New Features Audio visibility circle Onboarding Window: For first-time project setup. Misc Fixed OpenVR tracking when swapping hand ↔ controller. Disabled faulty detection of controllers with /rendermodels/ in name.
