What happened in April?
Published on April 30, 2021 by Lucie Anglade
Many things happened in April too!
The most important thing was the 10-year anniversary of WeasyPrint ๐
To celebrate this, we released a beta of the much awaited version 53 which doesnโt use Cairo anymore but our own PDF generator.
Feel free to try this beta and open issues if you encounter bugs ๐!
For this occasion, we also launched a short survey to know more about your use of WeasyPrint and your needs.
Donโt hesitate to answer this survey, it will help us to improve your experience with WeasyPrint ๐
Thatโs it for the WeasyPrint anniversary.
During this month, we also released a Cairo-based version of WeasyPrint which fixes a bug with the recent versions of Pango.
pydyf got a release too with more text rendering and curves options!
Thanks for supporting us ๐
