What happened in July?
Published on July 29, 2022 by Lucie Anglade

Hello!

During July, WeasyPrint v56 (and also v56.1) has been released ๐ŸŽ‰!

Thanks to the financial support of Blueshoe, Expert Germany and Code & Co. ๐Ÿ’œ, WeasyPrint is now able to:
  • generate PDF/A documents
  • use bitmap fonts (otb)
  • deal with line-clamp on nested blocks
  • support max-height property on footnote areas

We started a new serie of short articles about CSS tricks ๐Ÿ—ž๏ธ. The first one is about named pages.
We hope that youโ€™ll learn some cool things about CSS in this serie. If you want us to talk about a specific property, please tell us!

And to finish these news, weโ€™ll be in Berlin until August 5, so if you want to share a beer with us there, donโ€™t hesitate to send us a mail ([email protected]) or a DM on Twitter!ย

Thatโ€™s all for July!

Thanks for supporting us ๐Ÿ’œ
