Step by step toward active longevity: how the 19th meeting of the "Creativity Lab" went in Akhtme.

Each new meeting of our project at the Akhtme library is more than just a scheduled event, but a true space of warmth, lively communication, and overcoming loneliness. This year's meeting was the nineteenth, and it was truly rich and creative.
Creativity, benefit, and excitement!
The format of our classes is always based on a balance between the mind and soul. This time, participants were able to try their hand at several areas:
- Intellectual warm-up and excitement: The traditional and beloved game of lotto was an excellent opportunity to practice attention, quick reaction, and simply have a good mood. The enthusiasm with which the cards were filled in left no one indifferent!
- Art therapy and sketching: Participants devoted time to drawing with colored pencils. Creating simple geometric shapes and patterns on paper helps develop fine motor skills, relieve stress, and express one's inner world through color.
Warmth over a cup of tea.
Of course, the "Creativity Lab" is, first and foremost, about people. Around a large communal table, surrounded by paintings by students from the local art school, there was time for heartfelt conversations over tea and sweets, and for discussing plans for the future. It's here that barriers are erased, new topics for conversation are born, and that atmosphere of active and joyful aging that we all strive for is fostered.
We continue to move forward, creating a space where everyone feels needed, valued, and connected to a common cause. Thank you to all participants for your sincerity, smiles, and creative spirit! Many interesting things lie ahead.
