We’ve updated our Terms of Cooperation
We've just published new Terms of Cooperation that redefines the relationship between collectives and Open Collective Europe Association.
These terms also contain important information about tax.
Please make sure to read this new document. You can also find information about tax and how to make valid invoices in our documentation.

We're changing our fees
Some of our fees are increasing from 6% to 8% when you'll:
- Receive a grant or a sponsorship
- Receive tax-deductible donations
- Receive a public subsidy
- Receive a manual bank transfer
Why have our costs increased?
When a collective receives this type of funding, our workload increases significantly. We have to deal with higher accounting and administrative costs as well as with more expenses.
At the moment, Open Collective Europe is facing a greater influx of projects but our income is not yet sufficient to meet our expenses. We are therefore making this change so that we can also expand our team and provide better support for the collectives.
Collectives for Ukraine
On February 28, we announced the free use of the platform for collectives wishing to launch initiatives of solidarity with the Ukrainian people. In nearly three months, 7 initiatives were created and more than 80.000,00 euros have been collected! Follow their stories 👇
From the first of June, we will end this special discount but Open Collective Europe will remain accessible for all solidarity projects with Ukraine.
Thanks for all the work you do!
