There's been some wild weather around the motu this week - I hope you've all managed to stay safe!
I'm excited to announce that we have a new staff member! Katie Forshaw has joined the Gift Collective team this week as the Client Support and Finance Administrator.
After many years making coffee and building meaningful community relationships in the hospitality industry and while managing a local hair salon, Katie followed her passion for social justice into the non-profit sector, working as the administrator for two very different Wellington charities that deliver programmes reducing harm for people and te taiao. Katie is very excited to bring her varied experience and knowledge with her as she continues her journey working alongside people and initiatives that are doing the mahi to create meaningful change.
Outside of mahi Katie loves to garden, read books, knit and spend time with her tamaiti.
