About

We are a community project run by volunteers and hosted by St Anne's Church in Glenholt.  We have been supplying free surplus fresh food and more, since 30 Jan 2021.

Our primary aim is to provide help to anyone who lives in Glenholt or any of the surrounding PL6 areas who is struggling or in need of a helping hand; we are easily accessible as no referral is needed or personal details required.

Our secondary aim is to encourage people who wish to help prevent perfectly good food going to landfill, to support us, but ask that they come a little later during our session.

Normally we would hope to have a good selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, salad items, bread, pastries, cakes, toiletries, store cupboard items, some treats and the odd surprise item, although this will depend entirely on what surplus is available to us the night before.

We do not buy food items or accept donated food items from the public as our ethos is to save perfectly good surplus food from landfill whilst helping people in the community around us.
