As we approach the end of our first year, we have some big plans for Glimpse Image Editor 0.2.0 in July 2020 and what comes afterwards.

In that blog post we unveil what will be included, as well as our new "rewrite" development stream and the outstanding download figures we've had over the past month or so.

We would also like to draw attention in particular to a big change coming to how we raise funds in July 2020. Up to that month all backer funds will be put towards covering the cost of producing our fork, then any remaining cash will be passed to the GNU Image Manipulation Program. All backer funds from that month onwards will be earmarked specifically for an entirely new image editing applications. We will continue to maintain the fork and we hope you'll stick with us during the switchover, but we'll understand if you choose not to.
