Just getting started
We’re just getting started to see if this would be helpful this winter. Let us know any feedback.

About
The government isn’t helping, so just as we have been doing, let’s keep finding ways to help each other.
In the face of rising costs of living over winter, cuts to public services and cuts to public financial support, the Grange Villa Mutual Aid and Solidarity fund aims to distribute small grants to people in Grange Villa. The fund can be used for anything, there is neither judgement nor is there an obligation to pay back the money. This is run in direct accordance with principles of mutual aid - “from each according to their ability, to each according to their need”.
If you donate to this fund you will be donating in that spirit.
For now, you can apply for funds of up to £30 per application, applications can be made once a month. The fund will be payout when there are funds available. You must live in Grange Villa.
Please just submit here - either as a Grant or a Reimbursement.

1) First name
2) Initial of surname
3) Proof of address as a receipt (this will not be publicly viewable)
NB. Bank account details need to match other details.
If you are currently homeless and/or do not have a fixed postcode, or do not wish to submit a proof of address, please get in touch and we will discuss other options.
If you’re having problems with the process or don’t have good internet access then get in touch and we will see what can be done.
Not having a way of proving your address is not a barrier to accessing the fund, but due to restrictions on how the fund is administered by the fiscal host we would have to give solidarity funds differently and this will take longer to administer.
The fund does not release money every day, you might have short wait to receive the money. Please take this into account when you apply for funds, as they may not be released immediately.
Aspects of the fund will be reviewed in an ongoing fashion - decisions on changes to the fund or this expense policy will be made by consensus in meetings open to all members of the community.
