Lockdown #2 - Will you become a monthly donor?

Hello from the Herne Hill Solidarity Fund

We hope you are all keeping well at this difficult time. We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in the solidarity fund so far, both donors and recipients. We are lucky to have such wonderful neighbours!

I’m writing to ask for your help. I’m sure you are aware of the added hardships that come with winter and with this second lockdown. Household heating bills and Christmas expenses make this an incredibly difficult period for people who are already in vulnerable housing and financial situations.

We have four outstanding requests for funds and are expecting more as the month continues. We desperately need contributors – especially those willing to make a monthly donation – to ensure the sustainability of our fund.

Set up a monthly donation here!

We were created for neighbours to support neighbours in SE24 and represent a unique way to contribute to your neighbourhood by sharing some of the wealth. We suggest donating one hours’ wage (which is about £10 in London) or more each month .

In solidarity,

Ruth, Herne Hill resident, fund admin

P.S. Thanks so much for your support so far, please like us on Facebook and share the fund far and wide among your network
