Goal for Version 5.0.0 Achieved!

Many many thanks for your financial contributions!
In less than 1 month, faster than we can program it, you have made the next version of OpenCutList possible.
Since the last major release on September 21 2022 ( 4.0.0), we have listened to your requests and carefully selected among the many good ideas for improvement. Not all suggestions can be implemented because of inherent limitations in the way we compute the parts list and because their use-case is too rare. But we have tried very hard to make OpenCutList 5.0.0 even better!

First off LOOOOOVE OCL, you've no idea how much of a life saver it is! Not to pressure you guys or anything but what time period are we looking at for the 5.0.0 release? Is it in weeks or months?
I appreciate the good work you and your team are doing. More power to you:)

Nash, currently it's hard to answer exactly. A lots of new things to translate and test. Count a month, and if it's quicker it will be a good news 😉

Bonjour Florent,
Merci !
Merci !

What a fast progress, team. Can we view dimension of components on exploded drawing as well ?

@Phuong Nguyen,
Directly from OpenCutList exploded view, no. But OpenCutList exploded view could be exported to Layout. And there you will be able to add all dimensions you need, and save it 👍

If there will be more than one unit in the file it will be possible to choose which unit to explode?

Hi Sebastian,
Exploded views works like the Parts List. Whatever is selected or everything will be displayed in the Parts List and from that you can view an exploded view.

Could I place a feature request here (if not already done so elsewhere)for a cylindrical materials part eg chrome bar/pipe for hanging clothes in wardrobes

Nash, the best place for feature request is in "Conversations" section :)
