GlycemicGPT is getting a new name: Lumose.

When we started, "GlycemicGPT" did its job — it said what this was. But as the project has grown, the name started to hold us back: the "GPT" tied us to one moment in AI, "Glycemic" was a mouthful, and neither captured where the project is heading.

So we opened it up to the community. The process wasn't a straight line — our first front-runner turned out to collide with an existing supplement brand making health claims we want nothing to do with, so we went back, tightened the criteria (checking trademarks, domains, and existing projects before settling), and landed on Lumose.

Same project, same mission, same license, same commitment to keeping your data yours.
Just a name that can grow with us.
