Sponsors update - November 2022
Published on December 1, 2022 by Ruth Cheesley

Hello supporters of Mautic!

It’s been a busy month in the Mautic calendar, with our in-person conference happening in São Paulo at the beginning of the month which was a great success, with over 100 tickets sold and an amazing 30 people joining us for Contribution Day - our biggest in-person event yet! Huge thanks to the team in Brazil who pulled out all the stops to organise a great event - videos will be coming soon!

We have also been working on the 4.4.5 bug fix release which we made yesterday, and getting everything prepared for the first testing release of Mautic 5, 5.0 alpha - which will be released in the coming weeks. We are running slightly behind schedule as the Twig migration is taking longer than expected to complete, but we’re now getting that back on track.

We are in the middle of reviewing how we have done against the budget that we made this time last year. I’m pleased to say that after we revisited the budget in light of the loss made by Mautic Conference Global in the summer, we were able to maintain a positive balance which will be carried forward into next year.

We are planning to ring fence the amount of funds we require for our operating costs, and then based on our projected income from sponsors and events, Team Leads and myself as Project Lead will be proposing projects for funding. The Community Council will then review the proposals and allocate funds accordingly in our next meeting.

We have almost completed the migration and updating of our end-user and developer documentation to Read the Docs which will be a very significant improvement, also allowing us to translate them through Transifex. We are planning to formally transition over to the new documentation when we launch Mautic 5 in the new year.

Thanks again for your continued support of Mautic - we wouldn’t be where we are today without it!
