About
Calling all "This Old House" buffs and anyone interested in stepping back in time through architecture and storytelling. This is a home and garden tour of 19th century architect Henry H Meyers. The estate is a City of Alameda landmark. We invite you to join alum, Susan Tom ‘98, for a docent led tour on May 23, from 1-3 pm. The tour is $5. Cash only, bring when you attend.
The Meyers House, an exquisite example of Colonial Revival architecture, was erected in 1897 for the family of architect Henry H. Meyers. Situated on three city lots in the charming town of Alameda, this historic home features original fencing and pergola, a three-car garage, a carriage house, and an architectural studio added in 1935.
