Calling on all #California residents! The National Shattering Silence Coalition has partnered with Right to Treatment--Family caregivers for Reform of LPS laws in California to take action together to BE SEEN:BE HEARD!
This is a CALL TO ACTION for Family Caregivers of someone with SMI (serious mental illness) who has NOT benefited from current LPS laws (5150). Please join together WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2021 AT 11 AM – 2 PM PST, to BE SEEN : BE HEARD! Our lived experiences have been silenced long enough--this is a chance to HAVE A VOICE about how reform of LPS can help us keep delivering care at our own expense.
Wear Lime Green the color of Mental Illness, or Black for the needless grief and suffering that we and our relatives with SMI endure when treatment is not delivered prior to severe danger. We support TREATMENT BEFORE TRAGEDY!
