About

We work in solidarity with mutual aid groups throughout the city to ensure that all our neighbors have access to the resources that they need. Our work focuses on the Northwest side of the city (Avondale), where we host a monthly free food-pop up with fresh produce, dairy, dried and canned goods.

We know there are barriers to getting your local food pantry - transportation among them. This is why it's so important to us to keep the free food pop-up accessible and local. Many of the 80 or more households that come to the market each month live just a few blocks away and can walk to the pop-up. What's particularly special is that it's also a space for community partnerships -- whether it's sharing out resources on affordable mental health treatment, low-cost preschool options, or mobile dental care.

Our dream is to be able to host the free food-up at least twice a month and raise enough funds to host more community events - games & events for kids, cultural festivities with music, and a lot more connections and resources for critical needs like mental and physical health.
