You can now add custom text to the automatic email people receive thanking them for their contribution, at the level of a whole Collective and/or a specific Event or Project. This has been a long-requested feature and we're stoked to release it! Find it under "custom email" in your settings.
Very nice feature, too bad it's broken. I have a talent for bumping into issues. Email address uses a mailto: link btw.
Edit: did more testing and as expected, the counter there doesn't count the links, so things get confusing. I've removed some of the links and managed to save and set it up for my collective https://opencollective.com/ancientbeast 🥳
That's great! Is it also possible to set a custom text just for a certain tier? It would be nice for example to remind banner sponsors how they should provide the necessary information for their banner.
