Purpose of this project:
  • We do NOT ship a product, but collaborate to open source a solution & transfer technical knowledge about a "Plant Protein Extractor" for onsite realisation in communities in need who currently suffer malnutrition and foodshortages.
Objectives of this project:
  • Potential users & local associations connected to potential users of the device, can join the project to provide information about their local conditions and inform design adjustments to better suit their community.
  • Device production happens directly onsite at communities in need, applying readily available materials, using capacities of regional mechanical shops, MakerSpaces or Fablabs.
  • Device maintenance will be undertaken by the appropriately empowered local user community.
  • Other than leaves in the hard case of food shortages, the device can be used to process other seasonal food products.
  • Device plans will be freely distributed online.
  • Device size is intended to supply village scale.ย
