Our monthly One Pager is back and brimming with the usual quirky, positive, creative energy that I hope is becoming associated with our wee LGBTQIA+ grassroots community group, Room to Be. If you wish to unsubscribe, please email us and we will take you off the list. 

We're super excited about the year ahead. As well as growing at Boomerang, we will be sharing Green Team sessions with SAMH Chrysalis. This will allow for a more private session in an established garden. Our hope is this might appeal to members in the community who struggle with anxiety or are fearful of harassment. It will also give us much wider scope in terms of gardening tasks! 

Our monthly Chill/Create sessions continue with Cake or Dice and our seasonal arts programme which follows the Celtic year will begin on the Spring equinox, Ostara. For Pride month we will be exhibiting art at the new community gallery, POD!

We have a mission for 2026 to think more about our approach to climate action and what that means for us. I'm looking forward to developing this alongside our members as the year progresses. And I can't wait to see what new partnerships and collaborations will form.
