About
Solidarity Starts with You.
We are inspired to intentionally create a positive impact in our community. Our coalition embraces the generations-long relationship between progressive organizing and its dedicated relationship to the spiritual well-being of a healthy collective and Collaborative Community. We have a community gathering model tailored to themes that encourage base-building and Global solidarity, both virtually and locally. We also wish to incorporate local mutual aid direct action and organize our mission into a anti-racist, anti-oppressive community hub, perhaps even a co-op, specifically on Long Island. We wish to expand our offerings to include local partnerships, political education training, educational coaching, and community sanctuary along the journey to heal from past and generational traumas.

Our intention is to allow folks to consider and explore their own emotionally intelligent leadership through mutual aid and candid conversation in mixed spaces and separately, without shame or intimidation. We call our community members "Soul Descendants" who are in conscious alignment in regard to their respective role and its significance in building solidarity in the space we occupy together. This relationship allows us to connect to those who fought for us before, and for those not yet activated in the fight for themselves and one another just yet.
