Q1 2019 Objectives and Key Results
Published on January 23, 2019 by Adam Bard

Streetlives product and growth objectives and key results for Q1 2019 are defined through core team meetings and community feedback.

Product:

Learn about the challenges users will encounter when searching for services

  • Gather metrics about drop-off rates and referral quality from 65 sessions where users search for services without our support

Support at least 2 different ways for the user to specify what they're looking for

  • Include a feature allowing interaction with the app using speech, and gather metrics about its usage

Create the option to leave feedback built-in to everything we do

  • Feedback mechanism to Streetlives for the search experiment

Fulfill existing partner commitments

  • Build a volunteer comment site for partner organizations, just replicating the existing comment site, but with copy changes tbc
  • Shadow Referral Team at partner organization for [x] hours (tbd) – targeted towards what we are building – to learn how people look for and are provided with live referrals, and to see how/if our Street Team Tool can be iterated to help their referral team improve work (not actually produce a product, unless time allows)

Stretch goal: Research, choose, and design a mechanism for leaving structured feedback

Growth:

Lock in a partnership that can lead to short-term income and impact

  • 1 formal agreement with an organization on a product we can build for them that we believe will generate income/funding/resources and that provides tangible impact for our community (e.g. 1 specific issue like EBT, housing vouchers, etc) within the next 1-2 quarters)

Remain centered on building with the community and maintain existing provider partnerships

  • Share results with community via one publicized mechanism (e.g. Town Hall with stakeholders)
