Streetlives soft launch of YourPeer
Streetlives project YourPeer announced under plan to prevent and end youth homelessness in NYC
About
Since its inception as a pro bono project in 2015, Streetlives has worked inclusively with people with lived experience of homelessness and other stakeholders to collaboratively build tools and processes that improve social services for all.
Streetlives’ service provider collaborators include some of the largest in their sectors in NYC, such as the NYC DYCD Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) certified network, including Ali Forney Center, Safe Horizon Streetworks, Good Shepherd Services, Sheltering Arms, and nonprofits such as Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, Rethink Food, and St. John’s Bread & Life.
We are the vendor for YourPeer, now a priority initiative for “Opportunity Starts with a Home: New York City’s Plan to Prevent and End Youth Homelessness.”
We are supported by The NYC Fund to End Youth and Family Homelessness, The New York Community Trust, the Collaborative for Homeless Healthcare, and the NYC Department of Education Students in Temporary Housing.
