Become a Pantry Pal

Every Monday since June 2020, a group of dedicated volunteers have been running a food and hygiene supplies pantry at The Living Gallery, a community art space in Brooklyn, New York. What started as a table with a few items donated by people in the neighborhood, has grown into a weekly distribution event that serves ~100 local families and individuals. The gallery also hosts a 24-hour community fridge. 

In a time of widespread financial insecurity, direct giving is more important than ever. Everything we share with our neighbors, we give with no strings attached. All monetary donations are used to purchase items for distribution. When using donated funds to purchase items, we make sure to budget judiciously and seek out good deals while providing high-quality and high-value products to our neighbors.
