The Painkillers

Jason is a Welsh singer songwriter from Anglesey, the ex-guitarist / co-songwriter of The Holy Coves and founding member of Dead Replicas and The Unassisted. He has been writing songs and music from the age of 20. His latest project The Painkillers is his first attempt at writing / producing an entire record on his own. Jason suffers from a degenerative back problem and is now too disabled to perform live as he suffers from chronic pain 24/7. He has spent the last couple of years coming to terms with his disability and the challenges he has faced as a result. This led to Jason becoming a single parent to his four children after his ex-wife left him due to the strain the disability had on their lives. As you can imagine this has led to more challenges than expected. Jason has come out of this a stronger and more determined individual who now has the confidence to write songs about his challenges. Jason has spent the past few years learning how to record and produce music at home to the best of his ability. He has written his debut solo album Sit Down which has been met with nothing but great reviews.
