Unfortunately, in Australia accidents on construction sites happen each day.

The Australian Government introduced the CPCCWHS1001 unit of competency, also known as the White Card course, to educate anyone entering construction sites of the dangers. White Card courses cover a range of topics such as stakeholders on construction sites and their responsibilities, construction site signage, what fire extinguishers to use on different types of fires (timber, electrical fires, oil, combustible metals etc), PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), legislation etc. Many skilled workers from overseas need to complete their White Card course prior to enter construction sites, no matter how experienced they might be in their home country. This is to ensure that everyone is aware of Australia specific rules, signage etc. If you ever have to enter a construction site, do your White Card course first.

Tradie Training is a RTO (Registered Training Organisation), which provides the fully accredited and nationally recognised White Card course.
