Verdaccio half-year update

On the last 6 months, we have had a great growth in many fields, in the following text I'll recap the most important highlights:

Verdaccio 3 release

The last May we have released the biggest release in months and we are currently improving it with new minor and bug fixes versions.

Mentions at Conferences and Meetups

WeAreDevelopers 2018 at Vienna was one of the big moments for Verdaccio where the project was mentioned and gave us a really important boost.

New Website

We have a new website and more than 1k visit per week. The hostpots countries are USA, Germany and China. https://verdaccio.org/

At GitHub we have grown from 50 clones to 800 and more than 21k views each fortnight.

Downloads

We have increased downloads from 300 to 3,5k per week at NPM and almost 2 millions pills at DockerHub.

Contributors

The core team has grown to 3 persons which are working on this project and 128 contributors, 100 more since the fork. New features are being merge almost every week and great

support from new users.
