This month, Flourish: A Wealth Redistribution Agency is hosting community education workshops about grants at a solidarity rate.
SESSIONS:
Mondays @ 1PM CST | GRANT WRITING 101: You’ll learn about philanthropy, the NPIC, grant writing, and how to get grant ready. This is a great primer if you want to become a grant writer. SIGN-UP
Tuesdays @ 1PM CST | HOW TO BECOME A GRANT WRITER: You’ll learn step-by-step how to become a grant writer and where to find clients. SIGN-UP
Wednesdays @ 1PM CST | GETTING GRANT READY: You’ll learn how to prepare your clients for grants & inquire about funding opportunities. SIGN-UP
Thursdays @ 1PM CST | FINDING GRANTS: You’ll learn how to find and vet grants, connect with funders, and avoid scams. SIGN-UP
Fridays @ 2PM CST | OFFICE HOURS: You’ll be able to bring grant application questions or responses for feedback or recommendations. Drop-in anytime we’re in session. SIGN-UP
These workshops are intended to support groups who are new to grants and may not have the budget to hire a grant writer yet. There is also a workshop for people interested in getting into this line of work. If you are unaware of the Non-profit Industrial Complex, but are seeking grants then we recommend starting with the Grant Writing 101 session.
