Since our launch in September 2025 AEDAA now has 31 paid up members and a mailing list of 151 interested people.  We are very grateful for your interest and support.  Welcome especially to all new members.

 

The steering group has been undertaking important tasks since we were last in touch.  These include developing systems for the smooth running of the association, getting to know our new website and planning for the future.

 

This month we have two events and a resource to let you know about:

 

Our first Adult Attachment Exploratory Workshop will be held on Saturday 15 August 2026 9.30 – 4pm.  This will be a facilitated online event free to all members of AEDAA.  We are currently planning the programme and will send more details out in June.  For the moment, please save the date.

 

Then on 10th September we will hold our first AGM between 6.30-8.30pm.  The AGM will be held online and give members an opportunity to elect our first committee.  Further details will also be sent out in June.  Again, please save the date as this will be a significant moment for the ongoing consolidation and growth of AEDAA.

 

Finally Connection Comics, an illustrated introduction to each of the seven systems within the Theory of Attachment Based Exploratory Interest Sharing (TABEIS) by Joanna Stevens are now available to purchase through www.graphicattachment.co.uk.  You can also find a link to the comics on the publications section of the AEDAA website alongside many of the articles written by Una McCluskey and colleagues over the years.
