Our Agent is accepted in RoboCon 2026 : "What if Robot Framework have a brain"
Published on November 26, 2025 by Gaddour
AI Agent will be presented at RoboCon 2026 in Helsinki under the talk “What if Robot Framework had a brain?”.
This will be the first public presentation of the project and its core ideas: an open visual-language agent able to understand screens, reason on UI context, and perform actions on real devices.
This will be the first public presentation of the project and its core ideas: an open visual-language agent able to understand screens, reason on UI context, and perform actions on real devices.
The talk will introduce how AI Agent replaces fragile selectors with visual perception and step-level reasoning, enabling automation of mobile and web interfaces that are traditionally hard to test or even inaccessible.
During the next months, the work will focus on:
• improving the perception pipeline (OCR, layout parsing, interactive zone detection)
• extending the “Do” and “Check” primitives
• preparing an autonomous multi-step execution mode
• building initial benchmarks for agentic UI automation
• stabilizing the integration with Robot Framework, Appium and WebDriver

RoboCon will be an important milestone to gather community feedback, attract contributors, and define a sustainable open-source roadmap for 2026.
More updates will follow as we move toward the February conference.
