You might have heard or seen about this new amazing thing that the Sheep Barn storage can probably be kept for the next 3 years. Some weeks ago I started this Advice Process and the was a conclusion which I wanted to share with you.
You might have heard or seen about this new amazing thing that the Sheep Barn storage can probably be kept for the next 3 years. Some weeks ago I started this Advice Process and the was a conclusion which I wanted to share with you.
Summary:
The sheep barn’s current use as storage is practical and profitable, but not ideal long-term. A 3-year commitment with modest rent increases, better organization, and clear limits will serve the community while keeping the door open for future dreams. The focus should be on supporting smaller camps, improving security, and reducing administrative burden—without blocking innovation.
The room needs to be emptied before Borderland every year to make it available for Placement and make it more attractive for camps who are really coming every year to Borderland.
The rest you can read in the AP or in the new spreadsheet when you book your new unit. The numbers have changed but @Marcurious has done some work and has placed your camp name to the according new numbers.
Some placements don't fit anymore to the new conditions, fx. there is camps that occupy more then 2 of the 1m2 units. We want those for small camps and individuals, so camps who have currently 3 or even 6 there need to find a new spot. That's why we let you know first.
Please make the changes and re-booking ASAP and before March 15th.
If you don't want a space in the Sheep barn storage after this year's Borderland please remove your entry from the booking sheet.
Also if you decide to stay with your camp for next year you need to pay the new dues until May 1st. If you have not paid after this day your spot will be made available before we announce the new storage system to the broader Borderland community.

Most important things:
- You can book a maximum of 6m2!!! If you need more space find a camp to share a container.
- You need to empty your stuff before Borderland!!! Anything left inside the sheepbarn after Sunday 19th 4pm will become public property
- Pay the rent for 2027 until May 1st! We need to see if there is space left after current renters re-book.
- B-U-R-N-E-R — B-O-X!!! There will be a dedicated area for things that you like to share with others, partly even more secure for valuable stuff. Consider to share items that you bought with dream money.
