This BIPOC Solidarity Travel Fund is available to all Black, Brown and Racialised people living in Glasgow. It is a grassroots mutual aid fund, set up by local activists to support our neighbours resist increased fascist violence in Glasgow.
We redistribute funds to support our Black, Brown and racialised neighbours, friends and communities in Glasgow.
The fund currently only has capacity to support folk based in Glasgow, and with a UK bank account.
The fund is totally dependent on the amount of donations recieved, that can then be made available in grants. This unfortunately means that if the fund is low on cash, there can be a wait until donations are recived and then grants can be approved.
Please check the UPDATES below if you have sent a grant, or are considering sending a grant, so that you are aware of the likely timescale for grants to be made. We aim to process grant applications within one month.
**If you could use help or advice with claiming, please email: [email protected] and we can support you**
*UPDATES*
18/08/26: We have approved all pending grant requests. We thank those who have supported the fund with financial donations. Solidarity!
29/07/26: We are fundraising to generate more donations, and hope to reopen the fund for further grant requests as soon as possible. We are still working through paying grants in the order they were recieved.
17/07/26: We have paused new grants as the fund has very low cash. We are actively fundraising to generate more donations, and hope to reopen the fund for further grant requests as soon as possible.
09/07/26: We are currently delayed in making payments of the grants whilst we generate more income from donations! Grant might take longer to be processed in this time, apologies. Grants are processed in order they are recieved.
