Budgie 10.10.1 Released and More Budgie 11 Progress!
Published on February 1, 2026 by Joshua Strobl
It's been a production week for the team. We just put out our first bug fix release for the Budgie 10.10 series. This has already landed in Fedora rawhide for the upcoming Fedora release (beta freeze soon!) and I imagine David will be getting it into Debian / Ubuntu archives before their upcoming freeze as well.
Finally did a couple livestreams working on Magpie over the weekend as well. The VOD is already up for the Day 1, need to trim down the Day 2 stream before uploading that (OBS crashed a couple times). This is all tied together under the playlist "Building Budgie 11", so expect more videos and streams in the future. Got a dedicated streaming PC set up for it and everything.

Thanks for your support and have a great week!
