In Solidarity are hosting a children’s raffle to provide urgently-needed funds to two families in Gaza.
Aya is a lawyer, human rights activist, and advocate for women’s and children’s rights. She always help her community while also trying to provide for her family (parents and siblings).
Husam and Maryam have three small children and a big family. Maryam’s sister gave birth to a boy a month ago but the celebration of this new life came with a devastating loss from Husam’s own family. We are still mourning the precious children Sham (who succumbed to her injuries on April 24th), Aya, Farah, Nour, Saif, Ahmed and Ahmed (killed in the tent massacre on April 16th along with other members of the family).
No humanitarian or commercial aid have entered Gaza since the 2nd of March 2025 and prizes are skyrocketing. A bag of flour costs around $300 and the population is starving and fighting for survival.
Help us to support Aya, Maryam and Husam and potentially take home something for your children.
How It Works:
- Tickets are £10
- Raffle ticket sales will be open until 16th May at 5pm
- All winners will be contacted by 18th May
