Nextcloud Service update
This is the first customer support update being sent out to Digital Circle Nextcloud Services users... there has been a lot going on in the background in order to make your nextcloud experience a better one...but first
Technical issue update
Users have reported issues opening documents with ONLYOFFICE.
Our response time in dealing with this needed improvement and we have now a backup quick support reporting system in order to get further issues reported sooner, which means less inconvenience for you.
The provider informed us that Nextcloud will be supporting Collabora Online now instead and therefore we have switched this from ONLYOFFICE to Collabora Online.
You might say: what are you talking about? What does it mean for me?
Collabora Online is just a different app for opening documents, it works much the same way as ONLYOFFICE and this change should not affect you in any major way. Functions are practically identical - however if you have difficulties do please let us know and we will guide you.
On your nextcloud toolbar at the very top of your page you will now see an announcement icon...
Here you will be able to see if there are any known technical issues ongoing and also if they haven been resolved.
Reporting technical issues
Whilst we all wish never to have any technical issues, they sometimes happen. Users have reported difficulty in knowing how or who to report these issues to....

Ok, so what else is new?
Exciting new additions apart from the announcement center are:
* A flash new desktop which you would have noticed when you logged into your account - this is customizable * For those of you who worry about data limits, you need no longer do so... we have enabled a data limit warning, so if you get close to it, you will be notified automatically through a notification on your nextcloud profile.
Should that happen simply contact us and we will be in touch with you with a way forward.
