A Migrant's Path

A Migrant's Path is an ongoing photo essay that shares the stories of migrants, immigrants, and refugees in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Using portraiture and interviews, Abhi photographs individuals and groups who share their migration experiences. A Migrant's Path was acquired by the National Library of New Zealand for its honest depiction of migration stories in the Asian and African diaspora. Contributing to this project will help Abhi continue to tell these important stories and share them with a broader audience in community spaces. Funding will support Abhi in photographing more subjects, providing modelling fees, carrying out community events that bring people together, and continuing collaborations with artists by compensating them for their time.
