Solicitud urgente de ayuda mutua
A nuestros queridos miembros de la comunidad:
¡Esperamos que se encuentren bien abrigados mientras se acercan los meses más fríos!
Hoy les contactamos con una solicitud urgente de ayuda mutua, ya que aún no hemos alcanzado nuestras metas de recaudación de fondos para finales de este año y principios del próximo.
Este mes, organizamos nuestro evento navideño anual especial para niños, “Regalando Sonrisas” https://bit.ly/OpencollectiveGivingAwaySmiles Esta ocasión ofrece una oportunidad única para unirnos como comunidad y alegrar a nuestros vecinos más pequeños durante la temporada navideña, y tanto los participantes como los organizadores la esperan con ansias cada año.

Además de regalos, también ofrecemos productos horneados y comida recién hecha. Sin embargo, este año nos estamos quedando sin fondos para llevar estos platos y dulces a los niños de nuestro vecindario y sus familias.
También estamos atrasados con los fondos para nuestras distribuciones de frutas y verduras de enero, febrero y marzo de 2026. En algunos de los meses más fríos del año, esta época es cuando nuestros vecinos más dependen de Comunidad Primero.

Urgent Request for Mutual Support
To our valued community members:
We hope you are staying warm as the colder months approach!
Today we are reaching out with an urgent request for mutual support, as we have not yet reached our fundraising goals for the end of this year and the beginning of next.
This month, we are hosting our special annual holiday event for children, “Giving Away Smiles” https://bit.ly/OpencollectiveGivingAwaySmiles. This event offers a unique opportunity to come together as a community and bring joy to our youngest neighbors during the holiday season, and both participants and organizers look forward to it every year.
For this event, we're counting on the help of our neighbors to drop off gifts at designated locations around the neighborhood (see our recent Instagram post) https://www.instagram.com/comunidadprimero?utm_source=qr&igsh=MTg2cmZhc2N5emtuNA== and purchase items from our Target gift registry

In addition to gifts, we also provide baked goods and freshly prepared food. However, this year we're running short of funds to bring these dishes and treats to the children in our neighborhood and their families.
We're also behind on funding for our fruit and vegetable distributions in January, February, and March of 2026. During some of the coldest months of the year, this is when our neighbors rely most on Comunidad Primero.
