"Creativity Lab" at Maleva 49: A step-by-step journey toward creation and warmth.
Published on September 28, 2026 by Serhii Zlotnikov

Every new gathering of our project at Maleva 49 in Ahtme (Kohtla-Järve) is more than just a scheduled event; it is a genuine space for living, socializing, and overcoming loneliness. Today marked the 29th meeting of the "Creativity Lab," bringing together the initiative's regulars and friends.
The atmosphere is one of creation and lively interaction—a space filled with that vital warmth often missing from everyday life. Participants gather around cozy tables not only to discuss the latest news and chat over a cup of tea but also to immerse themselves in the creative process. This time, the program featured elements of applied arts and working with shapes, alongside interactive activities designed to boost spirits, sharpen focus, and foster a positive emotional state.
Why does this matter to us all? Our project is built on a simple, honest idea: maintaining cognitive health is crucial; creativity knows no age; active creative longevity is a reality; and socialization—combating loneliness, building new peer connections, and staying engaged—is the best remedy for isolation. Every meeting—whether we are working with materials, playing board games, sharing heartfelt conversations, doing neuro-gymnastics together, or any of our other shared activities—proves that grassroots initiatives created with heart and genuine care for people yield real results.
We continue to move forward, sustained by the support of our community and the belief that every person deserves attention and the opportunity for self-fulfillment.
Thank you to all the participants for your sincerity, smiles, and involvement in our gatherings. New horizons and new plans lie ahead!
