The 28th meeting of the "Creativity Laboratory" was held at Maleva 49 in Kohtla-Järve. Each gathering demonstrates that leisure time can be not only engaging but also incredibly beneficial for health, cognitive abilities, and emotional well-being—helping to combat loneliness and the effects of aging. The formats are diverse, ranging from painting to neuro-gymnastics.
The day’s program was both packed and well-balanced:
- Creative session: Participants worked enthusiastically at their tables, painting wooden shapes with acrylics and creating vibrant decorative pieces.
- Mental warm-ups: Part of the time was dedicated to logic games and puzzles (such as Tangrams and Katamino), which are excellent for stimulating attention and fine motor skills.
Brain fitness:
- A special highlight of the program was neuro-gymnastics—a set of specific finger and coordination exercises that the participants performed together with great enthusiasm.
The warm atmosphere and lively interaction at our "Creativity Laboratory" have long since evolved beyond a standard interest-based meetup; it has become a true club for those who refuse to give in to loneliness or the passing years!
It is a place where an atmosphere of support and coziness prevails. A traditional tea break with fresh fruit and sweets allows participants to relax, share news, and enjoy each other's company in a warm, home-like setting. Every meeting at Maleva 49 leaves participants feeling energized and cheerful, providing the inspiration for new creative achievements.
