Decolonial Europe Day is an annual initiative that shifts the focus of Europe Day (9 May) from celebration to critical engagement with Europe's colonial past and present, bringing together grassroots movements, activists, and civil society organizations.

Through engaging discussions, practical strategies, and community-driven dialogue, we aim to:

Amplify decolonial voices in and on Europe.
Connect grassroots movements with mainstream discussions on decolonization.
Engage with global decolonial struggles and build solidarity.
Work towards dismantling colonial power structures.

Decolonial Europe Day is back for its third edition on Friday, 9 May 2025, for the first time organised by the Decolonial Europe Collective, a newly founded network of organisations and individuals that grew out of the Decolonial Europe Day initiative.
