4-year-old Karaz is the sole survivor of her family. Her mother Lamis and brother Kamal were killed on the 3rd July 2024, in an attack which also seriously injured Karaz. Her father is missing.
Karaz is currently living with friends and being supported from outside Gaza by her uncle Shehab, who hopes to evacuate her to her grandparents in Egypt.
