We are collecting donations for Nour and her family - husband Majed and daughters Malak and Joud. This kind and loving family have been through the loss of their home, their income and everything they had.
Nour says:
My name is Nour, a mother of two young girls, Malak, 7, and Joud, 5. Since the beginning of the war, I lost my home and our belongings. We are left with nothing. My children and I are living in unbearable conditions. The bombings never stop, and buildings collapse on the heads of their residents. We sleep to the sound of explosions and wake up to the screams of the wounded. We are facing real hunger. There is no water, food, or medicine. Hospitals have stopped working. Patients are dying without treatment. Hunger is consuming our children. There is no safety or shelter. I struggle every day to provide food, drink, and clothing for my children. Fear haunts us every moment. We do not know whether we will survive another day or not.
My children live in constant terror. Every night they ask me, "Mama, will we survive?" "Mom, why are they destroying our homes?" I don't have an answer. How do I explain that the world sees our suffering but does nothing? We are not asking for much, but a chance to survive. We need a safe evacuation from here, urgent assistance, and a voice to demand an end to this massacre.
Please don't leave us alone in this nightmare. We need every bit of support, every voice, every effort.
Your donations will be transferred directly to Nour, helping her to secure food, water and shelter for her family.
For any donation to Nour, you'll get free downloadable and printable versions of two artworks of Malak and Joud by CFG artists Marina Zlatanova and Billy Ruffian.
