Highlights from 2023 and an announcement of dates for 2024

2023 was a challenging year, but it was still great to see our community gathered in Asheville.

- Some of our previous sponsors could not sponsor camp this year due to the economic downturn in our industry, including layoffs.
- Attendance was also lower because travel budgets were not as well funded as in years past.
Despite these challenges, we were able to dip into our savings to ensure that camp was an amazing event as usual.
We rented an excellent venue space at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, catered morning and afternoon breaks, provided free lunch in the dining hall, and provided event swag like t-shirts, bags, and lanyards to attendees. Friday's annual social event also included free pizza for attendees, providing a great space to meet and connect.
