This week, FLOSSK continued its online webinar series with three technical sessions focused on open-source tools, system administration, and developer workflows.
The series began on Wednesday at 18:00 with a session by Dashamir Hoxha titled “Linux Commands – Part 2.” The webinar covered advanced command-line concepts, including input/output redirection, file handling, shell expansions, quoting mechanisms, command history, and combining commands through powerful pipelines. Participants explored practical examples demonstrating how these tools can improve efficiency and productivity in Linux environments.
On Thursday at 18:00, Dren Imeraj delivered a webinar titled “Exploring the Radio Frequency Spectrum with SDR (Software Defined Radio).” The session introduced participants to the fundamentals of SDR technology and its applications in analyzing radio frequency signals, providing an overview of how modern communication systems can be explored using software-based tools.
The week concluded on Saturday at 14:00 with Agon Cecelia’s session “Introduction to Workflow with Vim and Tmux.” The webinar focused on building efficient, mouse-free workflows using terminal-based tools, helping participants improve their speed and productivity in development and system navigation tasks.
Through these sessions, FLOSSK continued its efforts to promote open-source knowledge sharing and practical skill development within the local tech community.
