Currently, when you access https://www.fontem.eu/ you'll reach our pre-production environment (we don't yet have a production environment).
However, all this is set to change during the next week. Incurring in expenses to fund another server and storage, we will be self hosting the production environment for an initial launch planned for the 10th of June.
During this time, we will be ingesting and pre-processing the data such that the productive environment can answer all our curious to-be users in the future.
We also plan to work heavily on:
1) community management features of the platform (moderation, comments, report abuse)
2) increasing the datasets available to include also sociological dimensions, sourcing from eurostat
3) adding new data visualizations and improving the report feature to allow better data story telling
4) UI/UX
5) Data quality
4) Operational readiness
It will be a big challenge, it won't be perfect, but we hope it will be a minimum lovable product, as they say these days.
