United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (usually shortened to ICE) established in 2003 following the September 11 attacks has now essentially lost it's purpose. What once upheld public safety and promoted security has now turned against it's own citizens, those that were supposed to be protected by them.

This year hasn't even moved a season forward and ICE has brutally killed at least two upstanding US citizens that have not committed a crime, instead their crime was their opposition to ICE and Donald Trump's regime.

On January 7th, we lost Renée Nicole Good, a writer and a poet, to heartless allegations of "domestic terrorism", while proof shows that she hasn't been involved in anything that could be described as domestic terrorism, even by the US law.

Later on the 24th we lost yet another person, Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse that has been taking care of US veterans, another murder in the broad daylight at the hands of ICE with impunity, except DHS "investigating the incident", later for FBI to "investigate it" as well. A lackluster response after a brutal murder.

And those are only the incidents that have been documented, as there are cases of other crimes committed by the ICE Agency, like the case of Tiago Alexandre Sousa-Martins, people within the Alligator Alcatraz and 37 people that have been killed in detention by the ICE agents since 2025.

All of this also after the US has vehemently attacked Venezuela, undermining international law that has lost more and more of it's power ever since Russia tested it in 2022 with a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. All in the plans to control Venezuela better, capture Maduro and install their own puppet-like regime.

In light of this, FUR/HELP extends condolences to the families of all those that have suffered under ICE, be it murdered, be it imprisoned within the Alligator Alcatraz, be it being unable to even leave your home in fear of getting kidnapped. And supports strongly all the Venezuelan people that have suffered after the US attack. 🇻🇪

Even though we have voiced our opposition and worry over Trump's term, we oppose everything that Trump and the Heritage Foundation cook for Americans, the entirety of Project 2025 that is halfway done by today.

We support our colleagues, friends and many activists in a loud request to abolish ICE and Trump's regime, since they have turned their purpose into a cheap paper, sold to the highest bidder. And we urge you to take action. Film the ICE agents violate the law and make it harder for them to break it, by being a witness.
