This IDAHOBIT, we should remember one simple thing. We have progressed quite a bit, despite how it may seem. While it's not time to slow down yet, we are stronger day by day.

Even in the darkest moments, as in Hungary's outrageous pride ban, Georgia's crackdown on LGBTQIA+ rights, UK's massive middle finger to trans people, we must remember that we would always exist, we would always be there for each other, we would never stop existing.

We join other 2SLGBTQIA+ nonprofits and activists in requesting that the EU provides a more sophisticated and strict EU LGBTQIA Strategy. A strategy that wouldn't allow EU Member States to discriminate against people based on their sexual orientation, gender identity or any protected ground, with a clear focus on the most vulnerable marginalized groups. From BIPOC, disabled, asylum seekers and refugees to sex workers and HIV-positive people, and even beyond.
