Our New Website is now up!
Published on May 11, 2026 by YukiDeer

We’re excited to announce the launch of our completely rebuilt website — a more inclusive, accessible home for everything FUR/HELP has to offer and more.

Built with Astro 6, TailwindCSS, Incluud’s Accessible Astro, and WCAG compliance at its core, the new site is designed to work for everyone, regardless of ability or device.

What you’ll find on our new website

  • Latest projects – See what we’re working on right now and have ability to join the work yourself. Such as our planned humanitarian case management suite CaseWork. (More on that later)
  • Our impact – Clear metrics on how much we help each year, people we helped and how much money is raised.
  • What we do in more detail – We now have a more clear and detailed list of what we do as an initiative, for your convenience.
  • Financial reports – Coming in June, hosted directly on the site for full transparency. You would find our income details, how we spend money and most importantly, percentage of money spent on humanitarian projects.

Volunteer Board – now easier to access

We’ve moved our Volunteer Board from Notion (which many users had trouble accessing) directly onto our website. It’s now fully readable on any modern browser, with no extra barriers.

Safety Button – one press, instant escape

We’ve introduced the Safety Button on every page. With a single click on the website button—or by pressing the ESC key on your keyboard—you’re instantly taken to a safe, neutral page to help avoid dangerous situations.

A note on safety: While we sadly can’t guarantee that the Safety Button erases all traces of the website, it should be enough for most situations. We’ll continue looking for ways to improve this feature, so please don't hesitate to contact us.

More legible fonts for all

We’ve replaced our old font (Geologica) with Atkinson Hyperlegible – a typeface designed by the Braille Institute specifically for readers with low vision. It’s cleaner, clearer, and more legible for everyone.
