Spaces for all.

We're highlighting the important relationship between refugee help, LGBTQIA+ rights, and disability justice during Disability Pride Month. At the intersection of these important concerns, our organization is dedicated to fostering an inclusive society where individuals of all abilities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and origin can flourish.
The difficulties LGBTQIA+ refugees face are frequently made worse by their disabilities as they escape persecution in post-soviet nations. Similarly, living with a disability presents special challenges for trans people in the US, navigating the healthcare and social support systems. We understand that these experiences need to be talked about.
Among the things we do, but are not limited to:
- Promoting the provision of LGBTQIA+ refugees with accessible housing
- Offering aid to ensure disabled trans refugees can access gender-affirming care
- Establishing and sponsoring public spaces that honor human diversity in its entirety
- Promoting laws that address all of our refugees' needs
This month, we invite you to join us in:
- Amplifying disabled LGBTQIA+ voices and stories, making sure everyone is heard
- Supporting our initiative through donations, by word, or volunteer work
- Educating people about the issues people face with disability, gender, sexuality, and refugee experiences
- Challenging ableism, transphobia, and xenophobia worldwide
Remember, disability justice = queer justice = refugee justice. Together, we can create a world that truly embraces and celebrates all forms of human diversity.
Join our mission today and help us build a more inclusive, accessible, and just world for all.
