Support Kaz Thompson-Anderson from the Australian NVC Community to go to the GOING HORIZONTAL Conference in Canberra 13th-15th November 2023
to bring back content & experiences (Kaz will share "mini-trainings" as storytelling to include others in what she learns)
to support the Australian NVC Community to increase our capacity to organisein alignment with our values... specifically to learn and apply practices of SHARED LEADERSHIP (power-with).
It occurs to folks supporting this campaign that the timing of the conference is appropriate to our stage of development as a community.
It's been said that we're on the verge of a new level of collaboration as an NVC Community in Australia... we're meeting more consistently (both online and in-person) and "there's real momentum" to grow the Australian NVC Community in 2024.
It's imagined that this GOING HORIZONTAL Conference will support clarity, inspiration and new avenues of international and local support to ORGANISE in alignment with NVC consciousness... to help us realise a vision of millions of Australians knowing about and practicing Nonviolent Communication in our lifetime.
THE BUDGET
DO YOU KNOW ANYONE THAT LIVES IN CANBERRA?
WHO MIGHT BE WILLING TO HAVE AN NVC COMMUNITY GUEST FOR 4 NIGHTS?
If you know someone in Canberra and you think they might enjoy a visitor for 4 nights from NVC Community... please get in touch with Kaz once you've explored the possibility with your connections. This may save some money in accommodation, although some contribution would still be made to hosts in any case as an expression of gratitude.
KEY FINANCIAL & TIMING CONSIDERATIONS
The target is to raise "ideally" $1,800.00 or $1,300.00 if I can find a community friendly place to stay. I've also been offered a subsidised conference ticket depending on what's able to be raised. If sufficient funds to undertake the project are not raised, then financial contributions will be refunded to all contributors within 2 weeks.
Money is requested by Wednesday 8th November 5pm aedt (Friday is the final deadline)
This is the deadline for contributions but please contribute AS SOON AS YOU ARE ABLE to support he project becoming viable quickly. At 5pm on Weds 8th I'll then register (or not) for the conference. *For tax purposes you may be able to include your receipt as a business expense for those in the community to whom this applies. If in doubt, please check with your tax accountant.
My aim is to offer "MINI-TRAININGS" by sharing what I'm experiencing as I go *This won't be an accredited Going Horizontal training, but more of a bird's eye view of my first hand experience. I'll be sending emails to my contributors with a link to follow my content and communication while I'm in Canberra.
